Bravo® Paper Towels are made for busy parents. Each sheet can be rinsed and reused to wipe off messy hands, wipe down a highchair and clean up after a fun summer craft.
Once your towels have been used to clean up all of life’s messes and silly moments, don’t toss that roll! Check out these three summertime crafts to make using your Bravo Paper Towel roll.
Whale

Save your roll and have a “whaley” good time crafting with your little ones.
What you need:
– Bravo Paper Towel roll
– Construction paper
– Washable blue paint
– Paint brush
– Marker
– Glue
– Scissors
Step 1: Cut your Bravo Paper Towel roll in half. Paint the outside using blue, washable paint and allow paint to dry completely.
Step 2: Cut a strip of red construction paper. Apply glue on the inside of the paper towel roll. Attach the red paper to create the open mouth of your whale.
Step 3: Create the tail, fins and eyes using construction paper. Use a marker to add pupils to eyes and any detail to the tail or fins. TIP: Fold construction paper in half to create two, equal-sized eyes. Use this same method for fins.
Step 4: Use glue to attach the eyes. Glue inside the opposite end of the roll to attach the tail. Glue each fin to the sides of the roll.
Step 5: Draw the blow hole on the back of your whale using a marker.
Popsicles

You cleaned up after real, sticky, drippy popsicles. Now, make pretend popsicles with the roll!
What you need:
– Bravo Paper Towel roll
– Popsicle sticks
– Hot glue gun
– Paint
– Glitter, beads, tissue paper, markers, etc. for “toppings”
Step 1: Cut your Bravo Paper Towel roll into 3 pieces. Each roll can make three popsicles.
Step 2: Fold the roll slightly inwards at one end of the roll, use your hot glue gun to apply glue to seal.
Step 3: Attach the popsicle stick to the inside of the roll with hot glue gun on the open end.
Step 4: Use paint to add color to your popsicles, get creative!
Step 5: Once paint is dry, attach “toppings” of your choice using glitter, beads, pom-poms, tissue paper, puffy paint, beads, etc.
Shakers

Make some noise for (and with) this next craft!
What you need:
– Bravo Paper Towel roll
– Duct tape
– Milk bottle caps
– Permanent markers
– 2 Tablespoons of dried beans or rice
– Scissors
Step 1: Use scissors to cut a 4–5-inch piece of duct tape. Place milk bottle cap in the middle of duct tape and cut slits in the tape towards the bottle cap.
Step 2: Place tape and bottle cap on one end of the Bravo Paper Towel roll, pushing on the strips of tape to seal. Apply another piece of duct tape around the roll for additional strength.
Step 3: Add 2 T of dried beans or rice into the shaker.
Step 4: Repeat steps 1-2 for the other end of the shaker.
Step 5: To decorate, use different colors of duct tape, cutting to size and wrapping around the roll. Use permanent markers to add designs to the tube or onto the tape.
